Well first of all, Dad came home QUITE unexpectedly and back to rights! I stopped in to see him on the Sunday after he was admitted, and he told unto I that his doctor said he didn't need a heart catheter OR a pacemaker! His problem was due to a fluid buildup in the muscle wall surrounding his heart.

Now imagine MY shock and surprise walking into his house the next day, Monday, to see the light on in the kitchen and Dad sitting there eating his lunch, dressed, like nothing ever happened! And HE asks ME, "What are you doing here?"

The surreal effects lasted about 20 minutes.

Seems he also has his appetite back. In his words he "ate everything but the dishes"

Meanwhile I've had actual work to do! I'm doing server upgrades for a national chain of overpriced leisure fashion clothes. Good work if you can get it. Sucks getting up for drives of 1.5 to 2.5 hours to be there at 5AM!
